National Grid (Keyspan New York) "Price to Compare"
National Grid will continue to provide you energy service by default if you don’t choose a plan from an independent energy supplier.
The default rate is your “Price to Compare.” You can use it as a baseline to help you decide if you can save money by choosing another supplier. If another supplier’s price per Ccf is lower than the “Price to Compare,” you can save the difference per Ccf by switching to that supplier. The rates you’ll be charged under the “default” plan are approved by your state’s public utility commission. However, those rates will likely be higher than what you can find if you shop around for an energy plan.
National Grid Keyspan New York customers can check out natural gas suppliers to find a plan with a lower and more stable rate by entering their ZIP code above.
