Ambit Energy commercial rates are easy on the budget. As of early March 2021, Ambit energy business rates in the Oncor service area ranged from 6.9 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 8.2 cents/kWh. Remember, however, that prices can change without warning, just like those for residential electricity.

• TSC – 36 month term: The business electricity supply rate will stay constant throughout the 36-month term length of this fixed-rate plan. In general, the longer term attached to the plan, the lower the rate it carries.
• TSC – 24 month term: This fixed-rated offering is similar to the 36-month plan but carries a little more expensive rate.
• TSC – 12 month term: Again, the fixed-rate term is shorter than the above plans, and the supply rate is higher.

Choose Energy has not rated Ambit Energy. But the company is accredited with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Ambit’s grade on the Public Utilities Commission of Texas’ Retail Electric Provider Complaint Scorecard is a “3” of 5, with five representing the fewest complaints.
